I have a question for CHISTOBEL MATTINGLEY
I’m Carmen, I’m ten years old. I live in Granada (Spain).
I have read NOT GUN FOR ASMIR. I would like if Asmir returns to see his father.
Thank you.
Carmen.
Respuesta de la autora:
Dear Carmen
Thank you for your email telling me you have read my book NO GUN FOR ASMIR. Â That made me very happy. Â I’m sorry I haven’t answered sooner, but I have had trouble with my computer.
I am glad to be able to tell you that Asmir’s father finally was able to escape from Sarajevo and join his family again in Vienna. Â Now they have moved to USA where Asmir and Eldar have gone to school and university.
You can read about it in two more books I wrote about the family: Â ASMIR IN VIENNA and ESCAPE FROM SARAJEVO. Â Unfortunately neither has been translated into Spanish and they are now out of print. Â But you might be able to get them from your library. Â If you can’t and would like them, I have a copy of each I could send you. Â So let me know if you would like them. Â Your English is very good. Â I can’t speak Spanish at all.
I wonder if you have read another of my books translated into Spanish: IDate  prisa, Alice!  You can see the other books I have written on my website:  http://christobelmattingley.wordpress.com/
I hope you and your family have a very Happy Christmas!
Your friend through books and reading
Christobel Mattingley
