Dear parents:

This week has been a very intense one. We all have learned a lot about Geometry and the fact that it is everywhere in our daily life . For this special week, we have drawn shapes in the 6 sides of a cube. We have learned the names of the 6 of them and then we have played throwing the «dize» to make the shapes with our hands and to pronounce the name. It was a very fun experience!!

Esta semana ha sido muy intensa. Hemos aprendido mucho sobre Geometría y el hecho de que esté presente en nuestra vida diaria por todos sitios. Para esta semana especial, hemos dibujado 6 formas en las 6 caras de un cubo. Hemos jugado a lanzar el dado para crear las formas con nuestros dedos y para decir su nombre en inglés. ¡¡Ha sido una experiencia muy divertida!!

This week has been a complete rollercoaster of experiments, creations, learning… We all have loved Geometry!!!! In this case, I propossed them to create animals from shapes such as squares, circles, triangles, ovals, rectangles, hearts… And this has been the result.

I really hope they enjoyed as much as I did.

Esta semana ha sido una verdadera montaña rusa de experimentos, creaciones, sensaciones, aprendizaje. ¡¡A todos nos ha encantado la Geometría!! En este caso, les he propuesto crear animales sobre fondo negro utilizando formas como cuadrados, círculos, triángulos, óvalos, rectángulos, corazones… y este ha sido el resultado.

Espero que ellos lo hayan pasado tan bien como yo.
