WILD ANIMALS IN THE CLASS

Hello everyone!

Our children are so much fun to work with!!

The topic since we returned from the Easter Week has been «WILD ANIMALS».It has been fantastic to realise how much they  know about it. We have categorised them into sea animals , jungle-savanna animals and forest animals.

In addition, they are able to make brief descriptions of their favorite animal, relating them with colors and basic adjectives(long, short, tall, big, small, light, heavy).

Estimados padres :

OPPOSITES ENGLISH

Hi families!

There are a lot of different opposite words  that can be used every day by kids that can help them to  not only describe people but also different things around them.

Now , let’s see some basic opposite words  through a song which can be taught to kids  if they have just started to learn them. The opposites Song Kids TV 123

Also, they have created their own bingo. It’s an easy game. Kids need to make associations and connections to learn new vocabulary.

Each child has  a Bingo card. The calling cards have an opposite word, and tokens are then placed on the players’ card  when named.

It’s Opposites Bingo! This game is very exciting for them!

Hi everyone!

One of the most basic topics of conversation is the  weather! For this reason, it seems like a discussion that you can’t get away from! To learn more about «The weather»  for kids watch  our song  How’s The Weather?  Super Simple Songs

Also, they have created their own «Wheel of the weather» , which is very useful to introduce the new day with the questions such as, How ‘s the weather like?, How ‘s the weather today? What day is it?, What are the seasons of the year?, What season is it? These routines are essential for children.

Fantastic creatures visited the Green Class!

Hello everyone!

The green class shows daily how much they enjoy learning English. They really like challenges and act like “primary school children”. We are learning during this weeks about fantastic creatures and fantasy world.

They have chosen each one a fantastic creature (the choice was limited to 6 different fantastic creatures: an unicorn, a troll, an ogre, a fairy, a wizard, a princess or prince).

We each chose a fantastic creature and acted out that character using dressing up clothes and a bit of imagination. The children  have made shadow puppets of their chosen creature and we have take our time to play using the light from the projector. What a wonderful theatre!

Now that carnival is approaching, we have been revising all sorts of monsters and creepy creatures (and costumes, of course!). They love to find it useful to comprehend and decode.
