These weeks we are going to work vocabulary related to wild animals vs domestic animals. Aquatic, savanna, rainforest, desert animals… Hence, we will also talk about different ecosystems.We also keep on learning phonetics and reading in English. It is astonishing how fast the learn and how much they will to participate.

Estamos de vuelta y estas semanas vamos a a trabajar vocabulario relacionado con los animales salvajes vs animales domésticos. Animales acuáticos, de la sabana, de la selva tropical, del desierto… por lo tanto también, los diferentes ecosistemas en los que viven. Además. seguimos conociendo la fonética en inglés y la lectura. Es asombroso lo rápido que aprenden y lo que les encanta participar.

Our children have been learning some mathematics in English. They have been manipulating objects, counting backwards… So much fun for them and for me to challenge them to participate actively.

Besides this, we have been singing and dancing learning Christmas vocabulary and Christmas carols.

We are learning soooo  many things and soooo fast. Autumn is here and we are having fun! In class, we share stories, read books, make pictures, read 3 sounds together (even more), talk about autumn and the change in weather, dance, sing and enjoy learning.

En clase, compartimos historias, leemos libros, hacemos dibujos, leemos 3 o más sonidos juntos, hablamos del otoño y los cambios que está experimentando el tiempo atmosférico, cantamos, bailamos y nos encanta aprender…

It is that time of the year again. Our children show their best attitude to learn about Halloween. Costumes, songs, make up and parties. Great time to celebrarte! Besides this, they are learning to decode and join sounds together. Step by step they can easily «feel they are reading». The sounds are S-A-T-P-I-N-C-K-E.

Llega ese momento del año de nuevo. Nuestros niñ@s muestran su mejor actitud para aprender sobre Halloween. Disfraces, canciones, maquillaje y fiestas. ¡Tiempo de celebrar! Además, están aprendiendo a decodificar y a juntar sonidos. Paso a paso sienten que van «leyendo fácilmente». Los sonidos son los arriba mencionados. Os animo a que juguéis en casa.

Hello everyone!

Though we still have a week and a half working on this topics, I wanted to let you know how fun it is to learn about sounds and phonics in English. They now can say words with «S», «A» and «T» sounds. Besides this, they have also learned the different parts of the face and body.

Aunque aún nos queda por delante una semana y media aprendiendo sobre estos temas, quería compartir con vosotros lo divertido que es aprender los sonidos en inglés. Ahora podemos nombrar palabras con los sonidos «S», «A» y «T». Además, han aprendido las diferentes partes de la cara y cuerpo.
