Children in the Green Class are learning about the family in English. We are singing a very sweet song about the Owl family with: mummy, daddy, brother, sister and baby. Children have have learnt how to draw an owl.

Los niños en la Clase Verde están aprendiendo sobre la familia en inglés. Estamos cantando una canción muy dulce sobre una familia de búhos con: mamá, papá, hermano, hermana y bebé. Los niños han aprendido a dibujar un búho.

Children in the Green Class learnt about the different parts of the face. They listened to a story about a monster and are in the process of making their own monster mask. We will role play with the masks next week

Los niños y niñas de la clase han aprendido sobre las partes de la cara. Han leído una historia sobre un monstruo y están en el proceso de hacer  sus propias máscaras de monstruos. Las utilizaremos para hacer   diálogos con ellas.

We´ve been learning about the parts of the body through the bean bag song. We sing and dance, carrying the bean bag on our head, our shoulder, our foot, our leg, our back and our arm. It´s lots of fun when we try to sing and dance at the same time!

Estamos aprendiendo sobre las partes del cuerpo con la nueva canción de la «bean bag». Cantamos y bailamos a la vez, colocando la beanbag en las diferentes partes del cuerpo. Es muy divertido cuando intentamos cantar y bailar a la vez.

We´ve also read a story about dinosours that talks pretty much about ourselves … «How do dinosaurs go to school?» by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague. We used it to introduce classroom expectations and to choose names for our English teams: Velociraptors and Brontosaurus.

También hemos leído una historia sobre dinosaurios que nos representa bastante … «¿Cómo van los dinosaurios a la escuela?» de Jane Yolen y Mark Teague. La hemos utilizado para introducir las normas de clase y para encontrar nombre a nuestros equipos de inglés: los velociraptors y los brontosaurios.
