Dear parents,

Our children have learnt a lottttttt this past month. The main topic for 3 weeks was fruit and vegetables. They were happy to understand and know the name of the objects we have in class. To be able to relate the name to the different options in the game, also made them happy.

For Halloween, we have beeen performing all thepossible monsters and scary characters. They love this party sooooo much!!

Nuestros niños han aprendido tannnnnnnnnto este último mes. El tema principal ha sido la fruta y las verduras. Se han puesto contentos al comprender y saber el nombre de los diferentes objetos que tenemos en clase. les ha puesto content@s poder relacionar los nombres con las diferentes opciones en los distintos juegos.

Para Halloween, hemos estado representando los diferentes monstruos y personajes terroríficos. ¡Les encanta esta fiesta tanto tanto!

Welcome to Alqueria again and to the English class!!

These past 2 weeks we have been revising the Hello Songs we know and the colours. As well we have been experiencing mixing colours and creating paintings. We have been playing in the class and we have been using new vocabulary.

Following the topic of «The Book Week» we are learning about a very famous writer called Eric Carle. I strongly recommed all of his books for sereval reasons: firstly because children love them, secondly because the stories are fun and thirdly because they learn so much!!!! This time I have chosen the tale «The Very Hungry Caterpillar», where children are learning about the transformation of a little caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly as well as food vocabulary and the days of the week.

Siguiendo el tema de «La Semana del Libro» estamos aprendiendo a cerca del famoso escritor Eric Carle. Recomiendo encarecidamente todos sus libros por muchas razones: primero por que a los niños les encanta, en segundo lugar porque las historias son divertidas y en tercer lugar porque aprenden muchísimo. Esta vez he elegido el libro «La Oruga Glotona» (así lo han traducido al español), en el cual, los niños aprenden desde la transformación de un gusano en mariposa hasta vocabulario relacionado con la comida y los días de la semana.
