OPPOSITES
They are not the same, they are different…
In our English class in Primary 2, we are learning about opposite words.
Opposite words also known as antonyms, are a pair of words with contrasting meanings. Learning antonyms helps us understand words better and speak more clearly!
Examples of Opposite words:
Big – Small
Fast – Slow
Happy – Sad
Hot – Cold
Day – Night

Here are also some sentences we created in class:
- The elephant is big, but the ant is small.
- The rabbit is fast, but the turtle is slow.
- I feel happy when I play, but I feel sad when it rains.
- The soup is hot, but the ice cream is cold.
- We play during the day, but we sleep at night.
