Healthy lifestyle

Hello food lovers!

What important it is healthy life and healthy food!

In Primary 2 we have been learning about different lifestyles and we talked about healthy habits that we should follow in our daily routine to help us grow strong and stay happy!

Healthy habits such as…

  • Drink water.
  • Eat lots of fruits and vegetables every day.
  • Brush your teeth and your hands.
  • Sleep well to feel strong and happy.
  • Play and exercise to keep your body active.Healthy Lifestyle Diet and Fitness vector sign in the shape of a heart with multiple icons depicting various sports vegetables cereals seafood meat fruit sleep weight and beverages

We are also talking about healthy food, which is included in our diet, and we created our own FOOD PYRAMID! The pyramid is divided into five food groups and we are learning what a healthy balanced diet should include.

This special pyramid helps us understand what foods we should eat more and which ones we should eat less.

Food Pyramid:

  • Fruits and Vegetables – They are superfoods! Giving us vitamins and helping us stay healthy. We should eat them every day.
  • Grains – Bread, rice, and pasta give us energy to play and learn.
  • Proteins – Meat, fish, eggs, and beans help our muscles grow strong.
  • Dairy products – Milk, cheese, and yogurt keep our bones strong.
  • Sweets and Fast Food – We should eat these only sometimes because they are not very healthy.

Here you have some pics of the result! We love working in teams!

And one of our favourite songs…!

Now let’s get ready for the Cultural Week…

Huge hug for you all,

Teacher Bárbara and Teacher Ana 🙂
