House and School Supplies

Hello hello!!!

During the past weeks in “segundillo”, we’ve been learning about the house and school supplies. From the different rooms in a home to the tools we use every day in class, our students have been expanding their vocabulary and discovering how to describe their world in English.

In recent days we are focused in school materials, playing games like «What’s in my backpack?» and «What’s in my pencil case?» which challenged students to practice their vocabulary.

These activities not only improved their speaking skills but also helped them feel more confident using English in everyday contexts.

It’s incredible to see how much progress they’re making! 🙂

WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF TOYS

WELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF TOYS

When we are learning a new language, one of the most effective and fun ways to acquire vocabulary is through toys. we’ll explore some of the most common toy-related terms in English, so that both kids and parents can start getting familiar with them in a fun way!

I love playing with my toys.

Doll – Muñeca

                                      Ball – Pelota

Teddy Bear – Oso de Peluche

Blocks – Bloques

Car – Coche

Train – Tren

Robot – Robot

Toys are not only a source of fun, but also an invaluable educational tool.So the next time you play with your little ones, remember to include those English words and watch them learn while having fun!

Exploring Animals!

Hello little tigers! 🙂

Let’s review what we have been learning!

During the past weeks, our students have been diving into the fascinating world of animals!

How do they look, what they can do and what makes them unique… and we added a mask-making! Each child chose their favourite animal, and with paper, crayons, and lots of enthusiasm, they crafted their masks. Once their masks were ready, they transformed into that animal, bringing the classroom to life with a symphony of roars!

Our young «animals» introduced themselves to the class by saying a few sentences about their animal character, such as:

«I am a tiger. I live in the jungle, and I can run very fast!»

«I am a dolphin. I swim in the ocean, and I love to jump out of the water!».

This activity not only helped the students to learn more about animals but also encouraged them to practice speaking in complete sentences, boosting their confidence and oral skills.

Remember how important it is to take care of them and their homes: protecting the forests, keeping the oceans clean, being kind to the creatures around us, every little action makes a big difference!
