Year 1

Dear families :

As you know, next week is Culture Week in Alquería School, and our little English learners have been working a lot on this year’s subject, also in our English class! These kids really love to learn, they have so much curiosity about the world we live in!

As an introduction, we talked a bit about Pangea and Earthquakes (which is lately a well-known subject in our region, oh my!) Then we sailed the Oceans and Seas, to finally arrive to the coast of our dear Mediterranean Sea!

Do you dare to find out some more information about the Mediterranean Sea at home?! Then watch this interesting video!

See you next week!

Green Class

Dear families!

This week, we have done many activities in our English class!

We played some Jollyphonics games in the blackboard, identifying sounds and their corresponding letters and motions:

We also continued learning about the animals as well as monsters, pirates… And all costumes and things that have to do with Carnival!

They specially loved this funny clip!

See you next week!n

Red Class

Hello everyone!

This week, the kids in the Red Class have been learning the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears!

It’s incredible how quickly they learn! After telling them the story, and practicing a bit, they were able to recognize words such as berries, house, Goldilocks, porridge, chair, bed… We also learnt the differences between big and small: a small bed, a big chair…

Do you want to practice at home? Have a look at this pictures and try to say if the chairs and the bears are big or small:

We also continued practicing our Jollyphonics, and playing a new musical game: London Bridge is falling down! They enjoyed so much! These kids are amazing!

See you next week!
