In addition to this, they have learnt the different means of transport we can have by air, land or water.

The special activity we have had for Easter has been to look for words in the garden, to read them out loud and to go searching for more. Consecuently, the Easter Bunny has left them chocolate eggs in the class:))))) They can really readdddddddddd!!!!

Year 1: Reading in English and Baby Animal

Dear parents,

We have been learning how to distinguish and decode the different English sounds and how to put them together to make complete words. They are truly loving the process and they can really read!!!!!!!!!

They have also learned the name of animals and their babies.

Easter has come to make us enjoy new vocabulary. We have looked for words in the garden. We had to read the random word we found and as a reward, the Easter Bunny has given us chocolate eggs 🙂

Enjoy the holidays!!!!!

Dear parents,

Spring is here and we all know the fun we can have to see the changes nature can make. The countryside is showing how beautiful it can turn and the magnificence of its vegetation and animals.

We have been reading books about insects, bugs and fenomena going on at this period of time. It is sooooo much fun.

Moreover, we are getting familiarized with some English sounds and their possition at the words we know. S (sun) -A (ant)-T (teacher)-P (plastic)-I (iguana)-N (plane)…. for example.

Easter is coming soon and we have also learnt the story of its celebration thoughout time.

Red Class: Spring vocabulary and The Very Hungry Catterpilar

Dear parents,

What a lovely weather we are having! Spring has come to share its changes with us and to make us enjoy the colours, smells, flowers, greenery and bugs.

To introduce the topic, I have chosen the book: «The Very Hungry Catterpillar». This way we have practiced the days of the week, food, and the transformation a catterpillar goes through to turn into a butterfly. They were delighted.

In addition to this, Easter is close in time and we have been hunting chocolate eggs in the garden and learnign some Easter vocab.

Enjoy the holidays!
