In the Green class we are working on english picnic food – melon, cherries, sandwiches, milkshake, chicken, yoghurt. We´ve played flashcard games, told a story and have sung about it.
En la clase verde estamos aprendiendo la comida de picnic inglesa – melón , cerezas, sandwiches, batidos, pollo, yogurt. Hemos jugado con tarjetas, contado un cuento y cantado sobre el.
Half of the Red class have finished their wild animal model and have done a mini presentation. Next week we will continue with them. The presentations went well, with each child coming forward, displaying their wild animal and saying the following or similar:
La mitad de la clase roja ha terminado su modelo de un animal salvaje y han hecho una mini presentación. La semana que viene seguiremos con ellas. Las presentaciones fueron bien, con cada niño o niña saliendo delante de la clase, mostrando su animal y diciendo el dialogo de arriba o algo parecido.
In the Orange class we have designed little actions to help us with the new words and the childrens´ comprehension has really progressed. We enjoyed dancing and then, when the music stops, the children listen and respond with the appropiate action.
En la clase naranja hemos diseñado pequeñas acciones para ayudarnos con las palabras nuevas y la comprensión de los niños y niñas que ha progresado mucho. Hemos disfrutado bailando y cuando la música para, los niños y niñas responden con una acción apropiada.
In Year 1 we finished off looking at trogloxenes (animals that live near the cave entrance) and troglobites (animals that live in the deeper parts of the cave). If you are keen to practice some English with your children then I would recommend playing the » Guess the animal» game as cited in a previous post, using the following questions:
En la clase de 1º terminamos mirando algunos «trogloxenes» (animales que viven cerca de la entrada de la cueva) y «troglobites» (animales que viven en las partes más profundas de la cueva). Si quereis practicar inglés con vuestros niños y niñas, os recomiendo jugar «averiguar el animal» como citado en una entrada anterior, usando las preguntas de arriba.
