Due to so many exciting happenings at school such as end of the year school trips, parties, bank holidays and Trinity exams, recently the English classes in the Yellow and Blue classes have been somewhat interrupted. Here is a link to a song to enjoy at home, so we can sing together again!
We have taken advantage of spring’s arrival and the celebration of «Book Week»  to discuss the animals duck and rabbit, the colors pink and orange, and the body parts bill and ears.Â
In class we read:Â
and then we made our own duck/rabbit puppets.  To make them the students had to ask for their duck/rabbit and the correct color: «pink, please» or «orange, please» for the bill or ears.
We hung up the final result today:
This is the first of several English class/Book Week activities!
We had a big SURPRISE today in the yellow class! The Easter bunny visited us in the garden and left eggs for us to find! Ainhoa was sure she even caught sight of him hopping off after our surprise! Â What a treat to count our eggs, ask for them by color (blue please, etc.) and eat our chocolate in the sun! Â It was the perfect way to end the term!
We have finished coloring and hanging our clothes in the yellow class!  You can see our beautiful clothesline with pink, blue, yellow, green, white, and red shirts, shoes and pants!  Almost everyone in the class is happy to tell me what they are wearing!
