I dedicate the post to Erin M., a student from the United States who has been studying with us in the third term in Year 6.
In this activity, Erin taught her classmates in Year 5 and Year 6 how to make kites.
The kites are made out of colored drinking straws, string and colored tissue paper.
To make them, thread the string through the straws to first make a triangle, then a rhombus and finally a triangular pyramid.
This can then be made into a larger structure.
During the spring party, these kites decorated the entrance to the classroom building to lend a touch of cheery color.
Thank you, Erin, for your collaboration and enthusiasm.
